I felt that I should at least write to you telling you how profoundly Alex impacted me and the course of my life. I considered Alex to be one of my best friends. I was able to express any opinion or belief I held to Alex without worrying about him judging me or being offended by me. For this reason, I think we developed a very close bond because we were able to so freely express our thoughts and opinions to each other without any kind of hesitation. Alex’s trustworthiness and loyalty were surpassed by no one. Neither were his ingenuity, pureness of heart, and dedication to his family and friends. I know you’ve already heard all of these things from so many different people, but I just wanted you to know how supremely I respected Alex and valued our friendship. I will seldom, if ever, find another person as trustworthy and truly caring as Alex was.
